The fantastic "Golden Age"

I love the hodg-podge of fashion in the video to this highly infectious song that captures the very essence of what this blog is all about.

I wished I lived in the golden age
Giving it up on the Broadway stage
Hang with the rats and smoke cigars
Have a break with Frank and count the stars

The "Golden age". Once people used to take pride in their appearance. Now, it seems as if a fashion apathy has gripped the entire world. In a place where shows such as Project Runway are shown worldwide, so many are content to throw on pajama pants or sweats and leave it at that. Or if the day calls for a fancier level of dress, fifty dollar sweat pants with rhinestones glued to the butt are the go-to fashion choice.

Once we looked beautiful, our time has exchanged that for the pathetic privilege of being walking billboard adverts for overpriced mass market fashion houses.

I know when I put on something nice, I instantly feel better about myself. It raises the bar of my entire day.

Give it a try, shake off the fashion apathy and dress to the level of fantastic you demand from your day.

Fashionably yours:
